Disposable Pasteur Pipets are manufactured from Soda glass, and feature fire-polished tops and a straight-cut tip.
Open: Soda glass. Dimensions: Ø mouth: 6.95 ± 0.15 mm; Ø tip: 1.2 ± 0.15 mm; 0.53 ± 0.03 thick. Closed: Made of neutral soda glass, with the tip closed and cotton in the mouth. Easy opening of the closed part by pushing it slightly. Dimensions: mouth: 7.00 mm; tip: 1.4 to 1.6 mm; thickness: 0.50 mm.
Smooth, fire-polished tops facilitate bulb attachment. Glass pasteur pipets have an inside diameter of 7mm, which tapers to a straight-cut tip. A positive constriction located 2.5 cm (1″) from the top of the pipet facilitates plugging. Pipets feature soda glass construction. The controlled drop pipet delivers 22–26 drops per mL.
