The GENLAB range of High Temperature ovens offer quick responding chambers capable of continuous operations of 500°C. Built to the highest standards, fitted with high density thermal insulation and air forced cooled front facia, these range of ovens are cool to touch from the exterior when operating at their maximum temperature. This range of High Temperature unit slots in between the requirements of a furnace and an oven and are extensively used in the Aerospace Industry.

The unit capacity and temperature range is manufactured to each customer’s individual requirement. Genlab have sold units used in the manufacture of engine components for Vertical Take-Off & Landing (VTOL) Fighter Planes and also for the restoration of vintage Super marine Spitfires.

Genlab are able to supply the standard units in the following sizes:

Oven Design :

The exterior is constructed from sheet steel finished in an easy clean powder coated paint. The interior chamber is made from heavy duty stainless steel. They are fitted with fixed shelf runners and removable heavy duty stainless steel shelves.

Air is forced around the front of the oven cooling the exterior.

Smaller units are constructed from a fully welded Zintec steel outer cabinet with an easy clean powder coated finish. Larger units are constructed from powder coated heavy duty tubular frame fitted with painted panels.

The interior chambers on all sizes are made from high grade, rust proof stainless steel.

Each unit is fitted with a microprocessor digital controller with a dual display of set point and actual temperature as standard, with a digital over temperature policeman to DIN 12-880 class 3.1 fitted as standard.

Alternative controllers and temperature recorders are available on request and all units have fan circulation and are heated by sheathed Incoloy elements around the fan.

Heating :

Heated by Incoloy sheathed elements, positioned behind the control panel. Cool air enters via the rear and base of the oven which is circulated around the heating elements as it enters the chamber.

Controls :

The temperature control is done via market leading Eurotherm PID controllers as standard, with an independent Eurotherm safety controller. Upgrades are available for profile, recording and communications if preferred. Indication of oven on, heating on, overheat alarm and fan fail are highlighted on the front LEDs.
